By the end of this course, you should be able to:

This course covers the following:

• Definition of scope
• Planning
• Data collection
• Analysis, review and action
• Change management
• Risk management
• System Review

This is a two-day classroom course that includes:

• All accompanying course material
• The official EVM manual
• The cost of the EVM Foundation examination (valid for 12 months from purchase date. Exams must be taken online via remote proctor)

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. Two weeks prior to course commencement ILX will arrange for an exam voucher to be issued. You will then be able to book a suitable time after your  classroom event has finished to undertake your exam.

Note: You are responsible for booking your own exam. 

Exam format

The format of the Foundation exam is as follows:

• Multiple choice
• 40 questions per paper
• 26 marks or more required to pass (out of 40 available) - 65%
• 60 minutes duration
• Closed book

This course is for anyone who needs a better understanding of the elements of EVM which can include but is not limited to:

• Project Managers
• Managers
• Department heads

There are no formal prerequisites however this course is ideally for individuals who understand the Earned Value Management APM guidelines, and who are currently actively involved, or are likely to be actively involved, in an Earned Value project environment.
