The MSP Foundation & Practitioner course offers comprehensive training in the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) framework, combining foundational knowledge with advanced application skills. This course will build the essential skills you need to effectively manage and deliver programmes.
What are the exam formats and pass marks for the MSP Foundation & Practitioner course?
For Foundation, the exam is multiple choice and closed book. It is 60 minutes in duration, there are 60 questions, and the pass mark is 60%, which means you need 36 marks or more to pass.
The Practitioner exam is an open book, multiple choice format consisting of 70 questions and is 150 minutes in duration. The pass mark is 60%, which means you’ll need a total of 47 marks or more to pass.
Does MSP Foundation & Practitioner expire?
Yes, both certifications will need renewing within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, you can find out more on the PeopleCert website.
How long does it take to complete MSP Foundation & Practitioner course?
You can choose from four different study options:
- eLearning: This course will take approximately 42 hours to complete. You have access to the online learning materials for 12 months
- Classroom: Is five-days in duration, in person
- Live virtual classroom: Is five-days in duration, in an online virtual environment
- Blended: You will have access to the Foundation eLearning for 12 months and it will take you approximately 18 hours to complete. The classroom or live virtual classroom workshops for the Practitioner element is two-days in duration.
For all study options, you have 12 months from the day you purchase the course to take both exams. You have to pass Foundation before you are eligible for the Practitioner exam.
Will I receive two certificates for the MSP Foundation & Practitioner course?
Yes, you will receive a one certificate for Foundation and one certificate for Practitioner from PeopleCert.
