Praxis Framework™ Practitioner Classroom

If you’re already working as a project or programme manager, and have completed the Praxis Framework Foundation course, the Praxis Framework Practitioner qualification will teach you how to apply its techniques, functions and processes to a real-life business scenario.

About the course

Combining the four pillars of effective project delivery; Knowledge, Method, Competency and Capability – Praxis is the first framework to integrate projects, programmes and portfolios into a single guide. The purpose of the Practitioner qualification is to confirm whether the candidate has achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor Praxis in a scenario situation.

Duration

This is an intensive two day course.

By the end of this course you will:

  • Understand the relationships between the roles, documents, functions, techniques and processes
  • Be able to apply the roles, functions, techniques and processes to a P3 scenario
  • Be able to create and assess P3 documents for a given scenario

  • The cost of the Praxis Framework Practitioner examination

Exam format

  • Complex multiple-choice questions
  • 2 ½ hours duration
  • Open book (only the Praxis Framework can be referred to)
  • 50% pass mark (40 marks out of 80)

In order to sit the Praxis Framework Practitioner examination you must have passed the Praxis Foundation examination.

What is it?

There is mandatory pre-course work that must be undertaken prior to attending this course. It is expected that it will take a minimum of two hours to complete. You will be sent full instructions with your joining instructions approximately three weeks prior to the event. In addition, whilst attending the course there will also be some exam preparation evening work.
