Does ITIL 4 Digital and IT Strategy expire?

Yes, you have to renew your certification within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, more information regarding the options can be found on the PeopleCert website

How is the ITIL 4 Digital and IT Strategy exam structured?

The ITIL 4 Strategic Leader: Digital & IT Strategy certification consists of a two-phased assessment approach: 

  • Practical assessments: You will be prompted throughout different phases of your course to complete assessments for review by an SME 
  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): Upon completion of the course and passing the practical assignments you will undertake an exam. This is 60 minutes in duration, closed book and has a pass mark of 70%. The exam will be taken online via remote proctor 

What are the prerequisites for this course?

You need ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation to be eligible for this certification.
