Understand the evidence, become aware of what stops us making good decisions, use clear methods to evaluate options, and learn how to recognise and report the risks.
"The best decision is the right decision, the second-best decision is the wrong decision, the worst decision is no decision." - D.D.Eisenhower.
Difficult decisions can drain time and energy, as well as invite unnecessary risks. So, understanding how to swiftly and objectively make a decision is an important skill that can serve you well every day. Not just in business, but also in life. This workshop will introduce you to concepts such as how to read evidence and data with minimal bias, what can stop us making effective and correct decisions, how to evaluate multiple solutions, and how to identify and report the risks associated with each one.
Note: If you are making decisions that will need to be presented to a committee, senior stakeholders, or other deciding group, then this workshop works particularly well with: Influencing with Integrity, Advanced Communication and Influencing Skills and Confident Presentation Skills.
This is a 3.5 hour virtual workshop.
