PRINCE2 7 Practitioner
Building on the Foundation course, PRINCE2 7 Practitioner focuses on the application of the framework’s key concepts within real-world scenarios. AgilePM Foundation
The Foundation element of AgilePM introduces you to the underpinning principles, techniques and philosophy of Agile. AgilePM Practitioner

How is the learning path delivered?
All four courses are available as eLearning, and you have access for 12 months. Learn more about our eLearning study option.
How are the exams structured?
The exam formats are as follows:
- PRINCE2 7 Foundation: 60 minutes, 60 multiple choice questions, closed book, 60% pass mark
- PRINCE2 7 Practitioner: 150 minutes, 70 multiple choice questions, open book, 60% pass mark
- AgilePM Foundation: 40 minutes, 50 multiple choice questions, closed book, 50% pass mark
- AgilePM Practitioner: 150 minutes, objective testing format, four questions per paper, 20 marks per question, open book, 50% pass mark
For both Practitioner exams, only the official PRINCE2 7 manual and the AgilePM handbooks are permitted.
Is there a difference between PRINCE2 7 and AgilePM?
PRINCE2 and AgilePM will teach you two different methodologies for project management. PRINCE2 provides a structured, process-based approach which focuses on dividing projects into manageable stages with clear deliverables, roles and outputs. While AgilePM prioritises flexibility, iterative development, and collaboration, focusing on delivering value incrementally and iteratively through short development cycles, known as iterations or sprints.

Combining these two project management training courses will help you develop an understanding of both the structured, linear approach of PRINCE2 and the flexible, iterative approach of AgilePM. How long will the PRINCE2 7 and AgilePM certifications last?
The PRINCE2 7 certifications require renewal within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, find out more on the PeopleCert website. The AgilePM qualification does not require recertification.
