About the course

Our accredited ITIL 4 Create, Deliver and Support (CDS) e-learning helps prepare you for the CDS examination. The examination assesses whether you can demonstrate sufficient understanding and application of ITIL 4 to the creation, delivery and support of services, as described in the CDS syllabus. 

The ITIL 4 CDS qualification is one of the prerequisites for the ITIL 4 Managing Professional designation which assesses the candidate’s practical and technical knowledge about how to run successful, modern IT-enabled services, teams and workflows.

Duration

This course will take approximately 16 hours to complete.

At the end of the course, you will:

  • Know how to design and develop a value stream for the creation, delivery and support of IT services
  • Be able to use the ITIL principles to support the Service Value System (SVS) and value streams

Materials

Digital official manual: You will be sent an email invitation within 48 hours of your purchase to register on the PeopleCert portal. Once registered you will be able to access the digital version of your manual. Please note: There is a 5-year limitation in accessing your eBook.

Hardcopy official manual: If you decide to purchase the hardcopy official manual as an optional extra your manual will be shipped to your chosen address within 48 hours of purchase.

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation within 48 hours of your purchase to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exam at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exam. Recertification: This certification has a renew within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, learn more about the recertification options on the PeopleCert website.

Exam format

  • 90-minute duration
  • Closed book
  • 40 questions
  • Pass mark is 70% or higher – a raw score of 28 marks or above
  • ITSM managers and aspiring ITSM managers
  • ITSM practitioners managing the operation of IT-enabled & digital products and services, and those responsible for the end-to-end delivery
  • Existing ITIL qualification holders wishing to develop their knowledge

To sit the ITIL 4 Create, Deliver and Support exam you must have first passed either the ITIL 4 Foundation or Managing Professional Transition examination, as well as having completed an accredited CDS training course.
