What are the exam formats for the Foundation and Practitioner courses?
The Foundation exam is multiple choice and closed book. You will have 40 minutes to answer 50 questions, and must achieve a score of 60% or more to pass.
The Practitioner exam is open book (AgilePM reference book v3 only) and based on objective testing. You will have two and a half hours to answer four questions, and must achieve a score of over 50% to pass.

Taking the AgilePM v3 Foundation & Practitioner combined course offers a faster, more efficient learning experience, allowing you to build foundational knowledge and immediately apply it through practical Practitioner-level training. It provides a seamless progression, reducing the time spent revisiting concepts and ensuring a more integrated understanding of AgilePM principles, while also being more cost-effective than booking the courses separately.
Do I need any prior experience to start AgilePM v3 training?
While there are no formal prerequisites for the AgilePM v3 Foundation course, you are expected to have a working knowledge of Scrum. But don’t worry, this information is covered in the mandatory pre-course materials for all live virtual classroom and classroom learners.
There are two modules included in the online pre-course material - one of them is the Scrum Essentials eLearning course and the second is learning that is specific to the new AgilePM course. The pre-course work will take about eight hours to complete and you must have done this before starting your course.
