How do I book my Project Management Professional (PMP) exam?

The PMP exam is not included with this course.  

You need to apply for the exam on the PMI website and meet a series of criteria (listed in the prerequisites) before you qualify to take the exam.   

How do I access my PMP pre-course work?

There is mandatory online pre-course work for those opting to take our classroom course. The materials are expected to take approximately four to six hours to complete. You’ll be sent full instructions with a link to the online pre-course within 48 hours of booking your place on the course.  

You must complete all pre-course work to achieve your completion certificate at the end of your course.  

What are the prerequisites for the Project Management Professional (PMP) course?

To be eligible for the PMP certification, you must have a: 

  • A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent) 
  • Minimum five years professional project management experience during which at least 7,500 hours were spent leading or directing the project* 
  • 35 hours of project management education or CAPM certification 

 

OR 

  • Four-year degree 
  • Minimum three years professional project management experience during which at least 4,500 hours were spent leading and directing the project* 
  • 35 hours of project management education or CAPM certification
