Enterprise Director – salary circa £100-£125,000 OTE depending on experience

The Opportunity

We have a new opportunity for an experienced and strategic Enterprise Director to drive growth across our expanded portfolio, including ILX, TSG Training and our digital learning solutions offered through Simplilearn. This role focuses on maximising revenue and gross profit from our top enterprise accounts while identifying and capitalising on new growth opportunities. As Enterprise Director you will manage four of our highest spending enterprise accounts. You will develop and execute tailored account strategies to deepen client relationships and expand engagement with our full suite of learning solutions. By working closely with key stakeholders, you will address their business challenges and position ILX as a key partner for their workforce development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling IT learning solutions into enterprise accounts and a deep understanding of the technologies shaping business growth in the dynamic IT landscape.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in enterprise account management, strategic sales, or business development, ideally within the learning, training, or professional services sectors. The successful candidate will have experience managing and growing large, complex accounts, developing long-term, high-value partnerships. Strong commercial acumen is essential, along with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies that drive both revenue and profitability. Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills are a must, with a confident approach to engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers. A deep understanding of accredited learning programs, technical training, and digital learning solutions, including areas like AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, and DevOps, will be crucial.

What will you be doing?

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for driving strategic account management, developing and implementing account plans to boost revenue and GP within your assigned enterprise accounts. You’ll focus on strengthening relationships with senior decision-makers, identifying new opportunities for training solutions across our ILX, TSG, and Simplilearn portfolios. Your role will also involve driving sales performance through cross-selling and up-selling accredited learning programs in areas like PRINCE2®, ITIL®, Agile, DevOps, AI, Software Development, and Cloud Computing. You’ll work to expand our digital learning offerings, leveraging our Simplilearn partnership to support organizations in upskilling their workforce in fields such as Data Science, Cyber Security, and DevOps. Additionally, you will collaborate with SMEs, the Bid Manager, and the Sales Director to craft and deliver compelling technical and commercial proposals for RFPs and tenders, valued between £100k–£300k annually. Taking a consultative sales approach, you will position ILX as a trusted learning partner, aligning our solutions with client workforce development goals. Your collaborative efforts with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product, will be key to executing strategic initiatives for account expansion. You will also help upskill the ILX sales team on TSG and Simplilearn products, ensuring continued growth across the B2B sales team. With full commercial ownership of your accounts, you will oversee revenue, gross profit, and negotiations to ensure long-term, profitable partnerships. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging client needs will also be a key part of your role to maintain ILX's competitive edge.
