The Practitioner course teaches you how to apply the guidance from the Portfolio, Programme, and Project Offices (P3O) framework. It enhances your capability to improve alignment between project execution and business strategy for better change outcomes.

FAQs

The P3O Practitioner course builds on your Foundation knowledge, showing you how to set up and run a Portfolio, Programme, and Project Office. You’ll learn practical ways to improve decision-making and support successful change. 

What certification do I need to hold to be eligible for the P3O Practitioner exam? 

You must have passed the P3O Foundation exam and hold a valid certification. 

Does P3O Practitioner expire?  

Yes, you have to renew your certification within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, more information regarding the options can be found on the PeopleCert website.   

How long does it take to complete P3O Practitioner? 

Both the classroom and live virtual classroom study options are two-day courses. For both study options, you have 12 months from the purchase date of the course to take your exam.   

What is the pass mark for P3O Practitioner exam?  

The exam is in an open book, objective testing format. There are four questions worth 20 marks each, equating to a total of 80 marks. The pass mark is 50%, which means you need to achieve a total of 40 marks or more to pass.
