About the course

PRINCE2 Agile combines the flexibility and responsiveness of agile approaches with the clearly-defined framework of PRINCE2. With this PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner online course, you will develop a comprehensive skill set that allows you to successfully manage projects in traditional, hybrid and agile environments. And by taking the combined course, you will learn the theory with the Foundation and then how to apply it to your projects with the Practitioner.

Duration

This course will take you approximately 20 hours to complete.

By the end of the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner course you should:

  • Understand the basic concepts of common agile approaches
  • Be able to successfully combine PRINCE2 and agile ways of working in various project scenarios
  • Be able to apply and evaluate the focus areas to a project in an agile context
  • Be able to fix and flex the six aspects of a project in an agile context
  • Know how to tailor the principles, processes and themes of the PRINCE2 methodology in the context of an agile project

Materials

Digital official manual: You will be sent an email invitation within 48 hours of your purchase to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to access the digital version of your manual. Please note: There is a 5-year limitation in accessing your eBook.

Hardcopy official manual: If you decide to purchase the hardcopy official manual as an optional extra your manual will be shipped to your chosen address within 48 hours of purchase.

Hardcopy process map: If you decide to purchase the hardcopy process map as an optional extra it will be shipped to your chosen address within 48 hours of purchase.

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation within 48 hours of your purchase to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exams at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exams. Recertification: This certification requires renewal within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, find out more information about your recertification options.

Exam format

PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam

  • 60 minutes
  • Multiple-choice
  • 50 questions each worth one mark
  • 55% pass mark (28/50)
  • Closed book

PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam

  • 150 minutes, no additional reading time
  • Objective testing
  • 50 questions each worth one mark
  • 60% pass mark (30/50)
  • Open book exam (official PRINCE2 Agile guide only)

There are no formal prerequisites for the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam.
