Materials

Digital ILX course materials: These will be accessible via the ILX portal. Full instructions with a link to the portal will be issued approximately two weeks prior to course commencement.The course materials will be provided in a PDF format and available for download.

Digital official manual: You will be sent an email invitation approximately two working days prior to course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to access the digital version of your manual. Please note: There is a 5-year limitation in accessing your eBook.

Hardcopy official manual: If you decide to purchase the hardcopy official manual as an optional extra your manual will be shipped to your chosen address approximately two weeks prior to course commencement.

Hardcopy PRINCE2 process map: If you decide to purchase the hardcopy PRINCE2 process map as an optional extra it will be shipped to your chosen address approximately two weeks prior to cource commencement.

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two working days prior to course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exam at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exam. Exam format

The format of the Foundation exam is as follows:

• Multiple choice
• 60 minutes
• Closed book
• 60% pass mark (36/60)

The format of the Practitioner exam is as follows:

• 150 minutes
• 70 questions, each worth 1 mark
• 42 questions correct to pass the exam
• Open book (The PRINCE2 7 official book, should be used but no other material is allowed)

There are no formal pre-requisites for the Foundation exam but you must have passed the Foundation prior to taking the Practitioner exam.

Pre-course

Important note regarding pre-course

There is mandatory online pre-course work that must be undertaken prior to attending this course. It is expected that it will take approximately two to three hours to complete. You will be sent full instructions with a link to the online pre course within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.

In addition, whilst attending your course there will also be some examination preparation evening work.
