AWS Solutions Architect
This course within the pathway prepares you to design and scale reliable cloud systems using over 70 AWS services. It also covers best practices, cost optimisation, data migration, and selecting the appropriate AWS services for business needs, and data, compute, database, or security requirements.
AWS Tools
Within this learning path, you’ll learn about over 10 different tools which offer powerful solutions for cloud computing. From managing virtual machines (EC2) and serverless computing (Lambda) to scalable storage (S3, EFS), databases (DynamoDB, RDS), and security (IAM, KMS), they streamline deployment, optimise performance, ensure scalability, and enhance data security in the cloud.

Delivered in partnership with Simplilearn, this learning path provides knowledge of AWS platform concepts, cloud architecture, and security measures to enhance your career prospects.
How is the learning path delivered?
You’ll have access to self-paced eLearning content and live instructor-led virtual classes for the two courses within this learning path for 12 months. During this time, you’ll be able to join several of the virtual classes, enabling you to revisit content as and when you need it. You will also have access to batch session recordings.
How do I achieve my Certificate of Achievement?
To receive the certificate from Simplilearn, you must meet the required criteria, as follows:
- AWS Technical Essentials: Complete 85% OSL, Pass a Project, Pass Assessment Test 60%
- AWS Solutions Architect: Complete 85% OSL, Pass a Project, Pass Assessment Test 70%
What are the technical requirements to access the eLearning portal?
The online learning portal can be accessed via all laptops and computers. You can also use tablet devices, but we’d recommend downloading the Simplilearn app to access the portal via a mobile device. Preferred web browsers for the online learning portal are the latest versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Safari and Mozilla Firefox.
After I make my purchase, what are the next steps?
You will receive an email from ILX confirming your purchase and welcoming you to the Simplilearn learning pathway portal. The email will contain a link for you to set your password, and once completed, you’ll be prompted to sign in with your username and new password. From here, you’ll be able to click on the learning pathway that you have purchased, and it will automatically take you into the Simplilearn learning portal where you can start your course.
