AgileDS® Practitioner Virtual

By the end of the Practitioner element of this course you should be able to:

• Apply the underpinning philosophy and principles of agile digital services in a project situation
• Appropriately configure the lifecycle of an agile digital services project to a given scenario
• Produce and evaluate the content of agile digital services products produced during an agile project in a given scenario
• Apply the following agile digital services techniques in a project situation: facilitated workshops; MoSCoW prioritisation; iterative development; building incrementally; timeboxing; user needs; user experience
• Identify the agile digital services techniques to be used for a given situation within a scenario
• Understand the roles and responsibilities within an agile digital services project and correctly determine the appropriate personnel to fulfil these roles within a given scenario
• Understand the mechanisms for planning, control and governance of an agile digital services project which are specific to an agile project

This is an intensive one day exam preparation workshop with the Practitioner exam taken on the same day. 

This is an intensive one-day virtual course that includes the following:

• All accompanying course material
• The cost of the AgileDS Practitioner examination 
• The cost of the DPI examination (must be taken online via remote proctor within 12 months of purchase)

Important : Please note you will require a copy of the official AgileDS handbook for the AgileDS Practitioner course and exam. This is not included in the cost of the course. Should you wish to purchase the handbook you can add it to your shopping cart once you have selected your chosen date.

HOW YOU TAKE YOUR EXAM

The exam is taken online via remote proctor. Two weeks prior to course commencement ILX will arrange for an exam voucher to be issued. You then have a choice you can either:

• Book a suitable time after your virtual classroom event has finished to undertake your exam

OR

• We will advise you of recommended exam timings as part of the candidate guidance — this is issued three weeks prior to course commencement

Note: You are responsible for booking your own exam.

Exam format

The format of the Practitioner exam is as follows:

• Complex multiple choice
• 4 questions per paper with 20 marks available per question
• Pass mark is 40/80 (50%)
• 2.5-hour duration
• Open book (AgileDS handbook only)

This qualification is aimed at:

• Practising project managers
• Agile team members working in a digital services environment who wish to become agile project managers
• Agile team members working in a digital services environment who wish to become more effective team members

The formal pre-requisite is that you must pass the AgileDS Foundation exam prior to undertaking the AgileDS Practitioner examination.

Additionally in order to attend the AgileDS Practitioner course you must have attended the ILX AgileDS Foundation course and passed the exam. 

Pre-course

There is mandatory pre-course work that must be undertaken prior to attending this course. It is expected that it will take approximately two hours to complete. You will be sent full instructions with your joining instructions approximately three weeks prior to course commencement.
