By the end of the workshop, participants will have an understanding of how to ethically influence others using powerful psychological techniques.
This course will teach you how to influence others with integrity by utilising various psychological techniques such as nudges, storytelling and motivational levers. You will learn how to frame your ideas and concepts in a way that engages and persuades your audience. We will explore “Nudge” techniques, which are subtle ways of influencing people's behaviour by altering the environment or context in which they make decisions. The goal of nudge techniques is to encourage people to make better choices for themselves without being explicitly told what to do. These techniques might include incorporating specific words or images in presentations or using the layout of a room to create a specific atmosphere. The emphasis in this workshop would be on using nudges in an ethical and transparent way to influence people's behaviour in a positive direction.
By the end of the course, you will have an increased ability to communicate effectively and positively shape opinions, attitudes, and behaviours beyond your positional authority, in order to achieve desired outcomes. You will also explore real world case studies and engage in practical exercises to develop your influencing skills. This course is designed for anyone who wants to enhance their ability to influence others in a positive and ethical manner.
