...Building a project management eco-system through leadership and personal development planning...
LONDON – Thursday 19th June 2014– ILX, the global Best Practice learning company, has announced that it will host a roundtable discussion with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) on ‘Building a Project Management eco-system through strategic leadership and personal development planning’ at the APMG-Showcase.
Now in its 12th year, the APMG-Showcase is scheduled to take place on Thursday 3rd July 2014 at the Queen Elizabeth II conference centre, London. The event has been designed for peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and networking across public and private sectors.
Steve Webster, Public Sector Consultant at ILX Group and Geoff Jane, Personal Tax Change Programme Manager at HMRC will discuss how organisations can continue to build on professional qualifications and implement strategies that can help to support technical project management skills. The interactive roundtable will benefit Project and Programme Managers and Heads of Project Management Office (PMO).
The roundtable discussions are scheduled to take place on Thursday 3rd July 2014 in the Benjamin Britten Lounge, The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre at the following times:
Steve Webster, Public Sector Consultant at ILX comments, "When project managers are being asked to deliver more with fewer resources, a common framework can save crucial time, effort and avoid costly mistakes. Familiarity with standardised processes in project management enables the project team to focus on the content of what they have to do rather than how they have to do it – and therefore ensures greater efficiencies. Our roundtable will showcase how ILX is working with its customers to develop a project management eco-system that supports continuous workforce improvement."
