Course overview
The Capability Licence Solution (CLS) consists of a library of 80+ e-learning sessions that have been expertly curated by ILX, from our own content and accredited training courses.
Sessions are 20–50 minutes in length, and aligned to the APM Competence Framework, which sets out the 29 competences required for effective project, programme and portfolio management. They focus on the essential technical and behavioural skills and capabilities needed for effective project management. Areas of focus include stakeholder engagement, resource management, change control, and benefits management, among many others.
The CLS has been designed so that it can be used for just-in-time learning – learning that is delivered on-demand, at the point of need. The search function allows users to access the specific training they need for a task they are working on. This helps to boost productivity, increase retention of information, and results in faster adoption of new skills or processes.
This licence also includes access to the ILX proprietary personal competency assessment tool, 3CAT. Our 3CAT tool uses the competency framework to assess and highlight an individual’s development areas. The 3CAT tool then generates a tailored learning plan, identifying the relevant APM, APMG, BCS, PMI and ILX bitesize e-learning sessions from within the PM Capability Licence, that are needed to bridge the skills gap.
