How is the learning path delivered?

All five courses are available as eLearning, and you have access for 12 months. See the eLearning page to learn more about this study option. 

How are the exams structured?

The exam formats are as follows, and they are all taken via online remote proctor: 

  • ITIL 4 Foundation: 60 minutes, 40 multiple choice questions, closed book, 65% pass mark 
  • ITIL 4 Create, Deliver & Support: 90 minutes, 40 multiple choice questions, closed book, 70% pass mark 
  • ITIL 4 Drive Stakeholder Value: 90 minutes, 40 multiple choice questions, closed book, 70% pass mark 
  • ITIL 4 High Velocity IT: 90 minutes, 40 multiple choice questions, closed book, 70% pass mark 
  • ITIL 4 Direct, Plan & Improve: 90 minutes, 40 multiple choice questions, closed book, 70% pass mark 

Do all five certifications expire?

Yes, to remain current you must renew your certifications within three years of the award date. There are many different ways you can recertify. Visit the PeopleCert website to learn more.

How do I access the digital versions of the ITIL 4 manuals?

You’ll be sent an email invitation within 48 hours of your purchase to register on the PeopleCert portal. Once registered you can access the digital version of your manual. Please note: There is a five-year limitation in accessing your eBooks. If you choose to purchase the hardcopy official manual as an optional extra, your manual will be shipped to your chosen address within 48 hours of purchase.
